Treatments Provided

  • There are over 200 different types of headaches that can affect patients and in no way can physical therapy resolve them all. We can provide an extensive evaluation to determine if manual interventions are appropriate for you. We take the time to isolate your symptoms and determine the best interventions to help you reduce the intensity and frequency of your headaches with the goal of completely eliminating them and reducing the need for medications. The major difference that we can provide is establishing your self treatment plan to help combat when headaches occur.

  • Trigger Point Dry Needling is a process in which a solid filament needle is inserted into a muscle in order to elicit a twitch response and temporarily shut down a trigger point. Trigger points are a taut band of tissue located within a muscle that can become painful and lead to a variety of conditions. We do not practice acupuncture and if you would like to discuss the process more please call us or ask your therapist.

  • Balance and yoga training are vital to all ages. It can prevent muscular imbalances in young athletes, help recreational athletes prevent injuries and be a large resource for fall prevention in our elderly population. We offer group classes for up to 8 people and private sessions as well. Group classes are scheduled twice/week and are able to be billed through insurance. Private yoga sessions are available.

  • Surgeries may be necessary to fix multiple conditions in order for you to recover. Our staff has extensive experience working in post-operative settings for almost any orthopedic surgeries. Our difference comes with the ability to provide you more direct time working on the manual aspect of regaining your mobility and strength faster than other facilities.

  • Whether it is prevention of a surgery or an orthopedic injury you are trying to get back from, our team specializes in the utilization of manual therapy techniques to expedite your healing process. We aim to give you the tools to continue your recovery at home and not be dependent on coming to see our therapists in order to get you back to 100%.

  • From surgeries and orthopedic injuries to sports performance training, our therapists have a knowledge base and background treating athletes of all ages. Getting back to your previous level is important to us. We offer a variety of preventative options including gait analysis, strength progression and sport specific training. With our effort of treating patients within 48 hours it prevents how long you are on the sidelines.

  • Experiencing a concussion has many effects not only on your head and cervical spine, but to your whole body. Earlier intervention can be helpful with regards to desensitization training and habituation training from the cognitive regard to concussions. In addition to the “typical” post-concussion treatments we offer a variety of manual techniques to concurrently address your mechanical pain at the same time to expedite your healing.

  • Motor Vehicle Accidents happen far too often and people suffer a variety of injuries from them. We are happy to work with any insurance provider, even if out of network, to ensure you get the best care and recover faster from your injuries. It is recommended that upon your first visit you have a claim number established to ensure that you are not billed directly for any services rendered.

  • From ergonomic assessment to physical injuries sustained on the job site, we can help you recover faster by working to eliminate your pain while providing solutions to get you back to work. We are not certified in doing FCEs (Functional Capacity Evaluations) but can help you with work conditioning and return to work simulation at our location.

  • Urinary or fecal urgency or incontinence, bulging in perineal region or abdomen, pelvic pain, low back pain, constipation, pain with intercourse or scarring are all reasons to contact our physical therapists for an evaluation. 70% of women describe at least one physical problem within the first 12 months post-partum and our trained therapists can help develop a customized plan to help relieve your symptoms and prevent future problems.

  • Having a child is trauma to your body. Whether it is pre-partum pain in your low back or women’s health issues post-partum, we are equipped to help you recover so you can get back to your prior health status. Many long-term conditions begin at the post-partum phase and can be prevented with proper treatment.

  • Hands on, manual therapy techniques are valuable to improve joint mobility, reduce muscle tension and restore overall function in most pathologies. Our therapists have undergone extensive training in a variety of techniques in order to customize each patient’s plan of care. Having a multitude of treatment approaches allows us to alter every patient’s treatment on each session to provide the best outcomes.

  • High Velocity Low Amplitude (HVLA) spinal manipulation can be extremely useful to help your body regain mobility and reduce pain. These techniques are provided in a very safe manner and are not for every patient. Your therapist will make sure a proper health history concludes that HVLA techniques would be appropriate for your care and always make your safety and comfort level are put first.

  • Jaw pain is debilitating and can disrupt your entire life. Whether you have a confirmed Tempomandibular Disorder (TMD) or undiagnosed TMJ pain, we can help you learn proper postural and positioning techniques to reduce pain. Manual interventions can also help alleviate pain in your jaw and upon evaluation it can be determined if there are any other contributing factors to your pain.

  • We provide individualized programs to improve your speed with running, have a more efficient golf swing, or improve cross training for all athletes. A comprehensive movement, balance and strength assessment can provide you or your child athlete with a program to do on your own or we can help you maintain the discipline of staying on track to meet your goals.

  • Our staff has experience working in state of the art facilities with multiple camera angles and force plates. Fortunately for us, the advanced cameras that we all have on our phones compares to the accuracy at picking up differences on where the foot strikes and cadence. Typically we like to shoot your video gait analysis on your phone so if you do work with other providers or running coaches you have all the data you need to analyze your performance.

  • Keeping you healthy and preventing pain is a priority to us. Many youth and recreational athletes consult with us when they are planning for a season or an upcoming race. Our team can design a custom mobility, strength and injury prevention plan just for you.
